A fine day for riding in the Alps. Three passes and only one tank of gas.
This picture doesn’t do it justice. A perfect SudTirol view.
Pass Number One today. Cold at the top and a little breezy.
Proof I was here. This sign is right below a very unusual building.
I have no idea. It wasn’t open.
This sign is just over the top on the other side
It was fun to ride in both directions
Pass Number Two. Very cold with gale-force wind.
Little shop at the top where you could get a huge piece of cake for a reasonable price
This is the side I came up
The road is pretty gentle until the switchbacks, then right up the side of the hill to the top
Pass Number Three. Warm and sunny.
A nice rider with a D on his license plate snapped this for me
Twist and Shout all the way to the bottom
Lots of interesting hardware at the summits
Right at the top. Only 45 more miles and I was back at home
